Samsung Star II Review

In portrait mode, Samsung Star II S5260 will use the numeric keypad but when you use the handset in landscape position then you would use QWERTY keyboard. Although typing on the screen 3 "is a challenge for those who have large hands.

 Camera ....

Camera

Samsung Star II uses a camera 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera without flash. Interface on the camera using a version of TouchWiz, a different scene modes. And on the interface of the camera there are some settings such as exposure and white balance.

Although only using a 3-megapixel camera but the color quality of the pictures we took quite impressive. Details on the image at the level of the average but for most of the photos we took have realisti color reproduction. Indoor shooting in a noise-suppression and lack of features would be so detrimental to flash when the light level is less good.

Hardware

Star II Samsung S5260 uses a touchscreen display 3 "and comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, and will use Samsung's TouchWiz interface.

Below the screen there and end call buttons, which flank a larger menu button in the middle. On the left, there is the volume settings. While on the right there is a microSD slot (up to 16GB) and the power button / lock. At the top there is a microUSB port and 3.5mm headset jack protector. At the rear there is a fixed-focus camera 3 megapixel camera with no flash and the loudspeaker.

Interface

Samsung Star II is a phone that uses the Java-based platform and seasoned with the third edition of the Samsung TouchWiz. At the top of the homescreen are notifications area - in the notification area there are several tabs such as missed calls, emails, music player controls (if you're running), and much more. On the homescreen you can put some of the widgets that you use frequently.

On the menu page there are 12 grid of icons with a large enough size. Then there is also a feature to adjust the order of icons on the menu page based on the level of frequency of use of the application but you also can arrange icons on the menu page manually. Using multiple applications at once will cause a decline in Performance from Samsung Star II and to overcome the Samsung Star II will be supported with built-in task manager. By holding the menu button then the task manager will show the applications are running and you can also clean up your memory. Task manager is also a great way to switch applications.

Video Recorder

The camera on the Samsung Star II also has the ability to record video, but the resolution of the recorded video only (320x240) pixels. So that not nearly enough to make all objects in your videos to be seen clearly.

Music Player

Music player on the Samsung Star II has the functionality and a rich selection of options. In the music player there are several presets for music genres that are popular and are also equipped with enhanced sound DNSe. Both output contributed relatively loud and clear also through a loudspeaker. Then there is also a "music recognition" that would make the information on your song to be shown.

Connectivity

Samsung Star II will only use the quad-band GSM, so 3G capabilities will not be used. Samsung Star II is also equipped with Wi-Fi as an option for connectivity to the internet. Coupled with Bluetooth, FM radio, and microUSB port for data and battery charging.

Browser

Samsung Star II uses the basic browser from Samsung is Dolfin 2.0. The browser also supports Flash Lite 4.0, so you still can see some basic Flash objects also text reflow. Zooming and panning have a pretty good pace and the only disadvantage browser other than the lack of full support of Adobe Flash is a low level of screen resolution that makes the page look ugly and unreadable when the zoom-out.
